I think that Michigan is just getting used to larger and rowdier crowds
and are trying to take a "NO CRAP ALLOWED" attitude.  I've never thrown
anything on the ice, but I'm not above pounding the glass (my season tix
are in Row 1).  The "glass pounders" have been warned by Yost Arena
personal to back off this year, something that I haven't seen in the past.
Again, I see it as a case that suddenly there is a need for crowd control
that wasn't there just a couple of years ago.  I think that they are going
a little overboard (the Arena Officials) at times, though.  Also, it was
the people that trickled the last couple of hats (only 4-6 were actually
thrown) that I saw get ejected.
