Heather Scammell (RPI Class of '98) is indeed the daughter of Richard
(RPI '69).  She is a freshman in the School of Management, and plays
left wing on RPI's first line.  Like her dad, Heather has great scoring
potential, and is likely to be a pivotal player as RPI begins its first
varsity season next year (we are currently a club team).
 
FYI, Richard Scammell is currently coaching the Troy Academy girls
hockey team, which was started just over a year ago.
