When I was at Minnesota, we always called them the Fighting Green Snot.  I
think that would be appropriate.
 
I understand the calls for changing Native American nicknames, but why
does noone bring up Notre Dame's Fightin' Irish?  What constitutes
propriety or impropriety on this issue?
