Good afternoon,

 

This is a reminder for public libraries who have internet connections
through MSLN, please do take some time to confirm that your library is
in compliance with the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA). To be
in compliance you must have an Internet Safety Policy in place at this
time or before July 1. 

 

If your library is paying the $300 per year to have unfiltered access
you are not required to have an Internet Safety Policy in place to be
compliant with CIPA.

 

If you don't know if your library needs to be CIPA-compliant, or it
needs to be and you're not sure if it is, please contact me!
