Dear MEEOA,
I have received the following letter of resignation from MEEOA's current
President-Elect 2016-2017.
*Hi Laurie - President MEOA,*
*I need to resign my position as President Elect effective immediately.
Life has taken a turn that I did not or could not have anticipated and can
not give to the position what it deserves. I plan to stay involved with
this wonderful organization but at a different level. I am honored to have
been offered the opportunity to serve.*
*Good luck in all you do and thanks for all you have done.*
*Betty*

According to the MEEOA Constitution, the current President acts
as President-Elect until a new election is held to fill the position. Dori
Fellman, recently elected President-Elect for 2017-2018 is willing to move
up her service as President and be nominated to fill the vacant position of
President-Elect 2016-2017 and serve as President in 2017-2018.
If there are other members of MEEOA who would like to stand for election to
the vacant position of President-Elect 2016-2017 and serve as President in
2017-2018, they should email Terri Morse ([log in to unmask]) with a
letter of interest and the signatures of three supporters who are
professional members by 9 am on June 2.
Thank you, and best wishes to Betty as her life moves in a different
direction than anticipated. Our thoughts are with you!
Laurie
