The Maine State Library would like you to share any programs you are doing that tie literacy/reading with the Maine outdoors and/or "Celebrate the Maine Woods."  An example is a nature walk related  to a book or summer reading programs taking place at the beach or other outdoor venues - anything that celebrates the Maine woods, Maine's outdoors!

There is a new effort at Maine.Gov to encourage agencies to showcase Maine's best in nature with photos and any programs that highlight this.
