The 2013 Public Library Directors Institute will be held at the Elk's Lodge in Augusta on Friday, June 14th.  The theme for this year's program is "Looking at the Law."  We will have a number of speakers explain the laws regarding a number of topics that keep appearing on our listservs, such as confidentiality, sex offenders, guns, personnel, and state taxes.  We will also have a couple of special guests, including Maine's own Julia Spencer-Fleming, a lawyer turned author.
