Greetings!

 

Are you doing anything special on Monday, December 3rd?  If you aren't,
why not join us for dinner at the Bangor Public Library?  It is called
the Greater Bangor Area Librarians, but it is open to anyone who wants
to drive into our city for this event.   It has been awhile since area
librarians have gotten together. There are several new faces in our
school and public libraries.   This would be a good opportunity to get
acquainted with your neighbors.

Barbara McDade will talk about the Bangor Book Festival that took place
this past October. We will also look at a couple of libraries that have
created stronger community spaces within their walls. There will also be
time for you to share what's happening in your library.

Dinner: Pizza, salad, dessert and a drink.  Cost $10.00.  Please
