Excuse the cross postings, but this needs to be shared far and wide.  From time to time, listers ask for concrete evidence regarding the value of school librarians.  Here it is.  This article provides a good summary of the findings of a recently completed Pennsylvania survey.  It also gives some very good advice about how to advocate for your school library.
