Hi again! I'm realizing yesterday's email was hard to read due to the hyperlinks. Here it is again but a version that won't make you face-palm. :) Have a wonderful Thursday.
The 2022 NAHSL Conference Turning the Tide is in beautiful Portland, Maine on November 6-8, 2022. This is our first multi-day, in-person conference since 2018, and we are holding registration prices at 2018 levels! Early bird registration and discounted hotel rates end on October 10th.
Join us for an in-person continuing education workshop on Diversity & Inclusion in Libraries: A Call to Action and Strategies for Success. We have a great line-up of speakers: Dr. Blackford Middleton from Closed Loop AI, Dr. Ivan Oransky from RetractionWatch, and Dr. Richard Kahn, medical historian. Breakout session topics include Literature, Art & Medicine, and Science Literacy and the COVID Pandemic. Paper and poster presentations and lightning rounds will showcase the great work of our members. And trust me - you won't want to miss our Monday evening entertainment: Curbside Queens!
Don't miss out! Register today and come see your colleagues in Portland.
