Merrimack named former UMass-Lowell captain Scott MacPherson as an
assistant coach.  MacPherson graduated from Lowell a couple of years ago
and has served as an assistant there.  He will help out Head Coach Ron
Anderson in all facets of the game, from recruiting to working with the
JV team.
 
MacPherson, as has been mentioned here before, not only skated for Lowell
(I believe he is 24), but he also was a skating double for Rob Lowe in the
movie "Youngblood".  Check the credits.
