Folks,

I live about 1.5 hours from AC, maybe closer than any regular on this list
(one town over from Tony's boy-hood stomping ground) and I will probably go
to the tournament if Cornell makes it.

AC has, of course, the casinos, although as a statistics teacher I wouldn't
recommend them :-). It also has the Boardwalk and that slightly run-down
seaside feel that those of you who remember Coney Island, Old Orchard Beach,
Salisbury and Revere beaches in Massachusetts, Misquamicut Beach in RI, Long
Branch, Wildwood, and Asbury Park in NJ, etc. A lot of people come to AC
expecting Las Vegas East and leave disappointed. Philadelphia is a two hour
train ride away and NYC is probably on the way for most of you. Tony
mentioned Cape May; I would recommend staying at one of the Victorian B&Bs
there instead of Atlantic City itself. As the event nears, I will fill you
in on things to do.

In the mean time, as BU's season is over, I will close with...
Go Big Red!! (I hear they are doing well in that other NCAA tournament.)

PS
No one from New Jersey actually says "Joisey", except for the bennies, and
the folks on "Jersey Shore" are mostly from Staten Island.

Hi All,

Actually AC is near some things. :-)

For example, the ocean, the GS Parkway, the cranberry bogs, the pine
barrens and if you go further south, the neat area of Cape May.
