With 4 minutes to go Brown led 3-1.
With 40 seconds to go, Cornell led 4-3. In between was some of the most
exciting hockey and loudest crowd noise I've ever experienced. Nasty
weekend for Brown as they blow a 3 goal lead to Colgate and a 2 goal lead
to Cornell the following night. That can't feel good.
Well, 4-point weekend for Cornell, they now sit atop the ECAC standings
with RPI, and potentially ?Yale?, depending on the Eli's result for the
evening. The third preseason favorite, Clarkson, did not fair so well.
Next week - on to Dartmouth/UVM for Cornell's first action of the year away
from home.
