NMU released 5 or 6 players mid-season last year for "undisclosed disciplinary
reasons" (only coach Rick Comley knows for sure!); anyway, the Wildcats closed
out the 95-96 season with a shortage of players, thus the room to recruit a
larger-than-usual freshman class.
