For only the third time in the 35-year history of the ECAC tournament,
the championship game will feature two Ivy League schools. Harvard, a
4-3 winner over Vermont, will play Cornell, a 3-0 winner over
Clarkson.

Cornell was the winner of the other ECAC championship games featuring
two Ivy schools: in 1969 (over Harvard) and in 1980 (over Dartmouth).
