I apologize if someone has already made this point, I'm on index, but
the Taffy Abel Arena is not really a NEW arena.  It is the Norris Center with
massive reconstruction and a new name.  I have not been to Abel since the
remodeling finished but I suspect they kept the ice/bench setup from the old
arena.  There is no real point in spending the money to change all of that if
you don't have to.  I believe that most of the remodeling was done to get rid
of the bleachers that accounted for over half of the Norris Center and replace
them with real seats.  OK, I'm done rambling now.
