I can confirm that fans from Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and other places
more than a stone's throw from the Soo regularly attend games at Taffy Abel.
 
We have alumni who come up every game from more than 100 miles off; and
many who attend virtually every Laker game within a day or two drive.
5 national titles and a lot of snow apparently translates into a lot of
loyalty.
