In response to Scott Spooner's comments regarding Munn Arena:

As a Lake Superior State fan, I have had occassion to attend both Yost
and Munn as a visiting team spectator. In each instance, my tickets were
obtained through the LSSU ticket office. The seats at Munn were far
superior to those at Yost. While both seats were at or near the top, the
Munn seats were just inside the blueline, while the Yost seats were on
an end, and partially obstructed.

The fans at Munn, at least those I was surrounded by, were concerned
with supporting their team, and not with heckling or insulting the
visiting team or the visiting fans. Suffice it to say I can not make the
same claim regarding my visit to Yost.

If one were to consider Munn a dingy hole in the wall, I can't imagine
what that person would think of Yost, assuming that person were forming
un-biased opinions in each case.

We are fortunate here at Lake State to have a refurbished arena this
year, but I imagine there are a lot of schools across the country that
would be proud to have an arena like Munn to call their own.
