At UAF, we're looking for a few good players for a new, improved Pep Band.
Seems that the incumbents kept demanding more and more MONEY (!!!!!) to
play at games. They were neither peppy or spirited, though they appeared to
be well fed. Then the Athletic Dept said "No More" (or ran out of money)
and put 'em down about 3 years ago. Rock tapes were an improvement.
Besides, no band could capture the mood of that Alan Parsons thing
("Sirius"), played loud at the opening face-off.

Are pep bands paid to be spirited in other locales?
