The Lowell media guide is the only one I have that shows any results
from the Teapot, which apparently ran from 1980-83:

01/07/80 Salem State 5, Lowell 2
01/14/80 Lowell 10, Merrimack 6 (cons)
(23-7-0, 3rd place NC$$ DivII)

01/05/81 Merrimack 8, Lowell 3
01/11/81 Salem State 4, Lowell 2 (cons)
(2 of only 5 losses that year for Lowell, 27-5-0 & NC$$ DivII champs)

01/19/82 Lowell 8, Holy Cross 2
01/26/82 Lowell 3, Merrimack 2 (champ)
(31-4-0, NC$$ DivII champs)

01/25/83 Lowell 7, Salem State 0
02/01/83 Lowell 5, Holy Cross 4 (champ)
(29-2-0, 3rd place NC$$ DivII)

So clearly, the Lowell-Merrimack game I mentioned before was not the
last DivII game played in the Garden, and Merrimack likely played
another pair of games there in the 1983 Teapot.

Since Lowell switched to a DivI Independent schedule in 1983-84, I'm
guessing the Teapot died with Lowell's jump to DivI. BTW, Lowell went
15-16-3 in 1983-84 but 4-13-3 against DivI conference teams. They
would enter Hockey East the next season when the league started up,
although officially Lowell (as well as Maine) is not a "charter
member" of the league. Those schools were accepted as members a few
months after the league was formed in July 1983, and play began in 1984.
