CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Mike Knuble, a senior right wing from the
University of Michigan, has been selected CCHA Offensive Player of the Week for
his performance the weekend of November 25-26, 1994.  He played junior hockey
for the Kalamazoo Junior K-Wings of the North American Junior Hockey League and
was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1991 National Hockey League entry
draft.
 
Knuble, a 6-2, 224-pound native of Caledonia, Michigan, had six points (four
goals, two assists) at the College Hockey Showcase.  In Friday's 7-2 victory
over Wisconsin, he had three goals (Michigan's first three of the game) and one
assist, while in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Minnesota he had two points (one goal,
one assist).
 
CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Mike Buzak, a senior goaltender from
Michigan State University, has been selected CCHA Defensive Player of the Week
for the weekend of November 25-26, 1994.  He played his junior hockey for the
Fort Saskatchewan Traders and was selected by the St. Louis Blues in 1993.
 
Buzak, a 6-3, 190-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta, had 46 saves (.939 saves
percentage) in Michigan State's 3-2 loss to Wisconsin at the College Hockey
Showcase, including double digit save totals in every period (19, 13 and 14).
Buzak has now been selected the CCHA Defensive Player of the Week three times
during the 1994-95 season.
