What a difference a week makes. Or in this case, it doesn't make a
difference at all.

For the second consecutive Wednesday, Providence and Northeastern
skated to a 6-6 tie. PC's Chad Quenneville, who scored with 7 seconds
left a week ago to tie the game 6-6, had a hat trick tonight in the game
at NU's Matthews Arena.

PC, which picked up six points Monday in the Maine forfeits, remains a
point ahead of NU in the HE race. This was the game that was rescheduled
from last Friday because of the Nancy Kerrigan skating exhibition. The
teams close out their season series Friday night in Providence, site of
last week's 6-6 tie. With the way the race is so tight and the teams have
played two ties thus far, that makes Friday's game pretty big, I'd say.
