in a scoreless 3rd period, an apparent air force goal was disallowed
when buzzy christianson ruled the net off its moorings.  Interesting
that the net was off, but play was not whistled dead.
 
Before the scoreless third period, the providence friars were able to
get a goal in the second.  This, added to their 3 tallies in the
opening stanza, allowed them to duplicate their score of the prior
afternoon.  Air force was unable to put the puck in the net, so the
score ended up 4-0 providence.
 
A highlight of the afternoon was seeing a falcon fan and a friar fan
both berating buzzy on the same play.
 
Next weekend, the falcons go against Mankato state.  I'll be in boston
at meetings at the sheraton, and may atempt to get to a game if any of
the 4 boston teams are home saturday night.  If, when I get home,
nothing is posted, i'll get scores in sunday evening.
