I haven't seen the box score posted for the game, so I thought I'd
post it along with some short (biased and amnesia susceptible)

I felt that, overall, BU controlled most of the game, with the shot
total being a fair indicator of where the puck was the most of the
time. But, BU made a number of mistakes during the game (bad passes,
running into each other, defensemen screening their own goalie, etc.)
while RPI didn't make any and capitalized on most of the chances that
they were given. It was also a case of one goaltender outplaying the
other, as Little stopped almost everything, and Herlofsky didn't make
the outstanding saves that would have been needed to get the win.

BU never really "clicked" except for the few minutes following their
first goal in the 3rd period, while RPI looked to be well organized,
and always present in the defensive end. If RPI plays this well every
game, they will indeed be there at the end of the season.

BU may have the talent this year, perhaps more than last year, but
they need to get working as a team before they will reach their
full potential. [Of course, BU hockey always seems to need these
early season setbacks to give backbone in their better seasons.]

Later,
