Air force handily won the 1st period.  The second period was fairly
even, but the turning point in the game came in the closing seconds of
the second when air force was whistled for a major and a minor within
seconds, and they had to give up a full 2 minutes of 5 on 3 in the
third.  Mankato pulled to 3-2 on the 2 man advantage, and air force
opened up the 2 goal lead midway through the period.  Mankato closed
to within one on a power play, and got the equalizer in the final 30
seconds.  This makes the 3rd heartbreaker in the past 3 games, losing
to providence in the final minute, losing in overtime last night, and
being tied tonight, all giving up late goals.   Buzzy and his partner
in crime had a terrible night.  Maybe they were skating at the air
force but it sure seemed like they were watching the CC game.  I've
never seen a bench minor called in the final 4 seconds of the 3rd
period of a tie game.
