Dear Fox Sports Network(s):
I am writing to express my disappointment at the relative lack of live
coverage of the NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey Regionals on the Fox
Sports Affiliates. I am a DirecTV customer living in New Orleans,
Louisiana, and have enjoyed watching the numerous college hockey
broadcasts over the course of the season on Fox Sports North, Rocky
Mountain, Detroit, New England, and other Regional Sports Networks.
Last year I was able to watch almost all of the regional games live
via satellite.
This year, however, only seven of the twelve regional games are being
carried live in their entirety via networks available on DirecTV
(Empire, NESN, and MSG). Numerous cable systems are carrying the
games, but this is of no help to those of us who live outside the area
and have to rely on satellite for our college hockey TV coverage.
