I think box scores should include any objects thrown on the ice, living or
not, and whether any penalty was assessed.
 
In Omaha, the current "tradition" (oxymoron) is to throw socks on the ice
after UNO's first goal.  Apparently it's a reference to coach Mike Kemp's
forgetting to bring socks to wear for the inaugural game and having to put
bare feet into his dress shoes.
 
I'm fairly certain no sheep were harmed in the process of obtaining the
socks, although they may have caught cold.
