How many more people would have
watched the "game-of-the century" between Maine and Michigan last year if
it was not up against a Final Four b-ball game? Getting more people to
see games like that one is the easiest way to grow the sport.

The Maine-Michigan game was on Thursday; none of the basketball was until
Saturday. The game had enough trouble competing with golf, which won't go
away by moving it a week.

I'm just going to keep repeating this: for a variety of reasons, college
hockey isn't very likely to go "Big Time" in the near future, and I don't
really consider this to be a bad thing.
