Should Maine win the Hockey East Tournament in Boston and receive the
automatic bid to play in the NCAA's due to their probation they will have
to forfeit it. However; will this bid be transferred to another team or
will there be one less automatic bid? Would Mass-Lowell or BU receive
that bid possibly even though BU has the courtesy bid already? Is it
possible to make the conclusion that Lowell is already in the dance since
two teams must get in?
