Last November, I posted a message asking about radios that have good long-
distance AM reception. Several list members suggested the GE Superradio.
I finally got around to buying one about 10 days ago. (Cost me $44.99 at
a discount store if any one else is interested.)

So on Saturday, I tried for about an hour to get WPTR 1540 to see if I could
listen to the RPI-Union game. Well, I don't know if WPTR was even
broadcasting the game, but in any case I couldn't receive the station. I
can get WGY from Schenectady, so it isn't purely a distance question, but
WGY is a clear-channel station. (Gee, many years ago, WGY was RPI's radio
outlet.) After an hour, I decided to watch the NHL All-Star game and the
most irritating puck that I have ever seen. Can't even tell on which side
of a stick or a net it is. I guess that we won't have to worry about the
NC$$ trying this stunt as not enough games are shown on TV to make it
worthwhile.

Anyway, back to the original topic. I checked the teaminfo file to see if
the radio stations for each school are listed -- they aren't. Does anyone
know if any college broadcasts its games on a powerful AM station,
preferably clear channel?
