Keith corrected a mistake made in my post on this. Regarding the
Rick Comley quote that the selectio comm. would have to act like th
e forfeits never happened. Keith corrected me that it was Bob G. who
made that post and not Ryan Robbins.
 
My apologies to both Ryan and Bob and thanks to Keith.
 
I asked what was the point of the forfeits if they didn't affect
Maine's NC$$ tournament status. I would also like to say that there
is no reason, in my mind, they should have been banned from the playoffs.
They should have finished in last place in HE and play the #1 team, just
like any other #8 team. Based on the above two statements, I woudl think
they shouldn't have gone to the NC$$'s unless they won the HE tournament
 
Instead, Maine can't go to the HE tournament but still has a conceivable
chance of going to the NC$$'s! Does that make any sense?
