ECAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Providence: Gina Martiniello, SR, Goaltender (Wilmington, MA)
Led PC to a second place finish in the Providence College Invita-
tional.  Had a 1.03 goals against average.  Saved all 17 UNH shots
in a 2-0 victory.
 
rhun ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Harvard:  AJ Mleczko, FR, F. (New Canaan, CT)
Leads the Crimson in scoring and is second overall in the ECAC.
Had 4 goals against Middlebury.
 
ECAC NEWS:
Rookie Alison Wheeler scored both PC goals in their 7-2 loss to
Concordia.    Former PC player and 3 time ECAC Player of the Year
Cammi Granato is now playing for Concordia.    Brown goalie Kate
Presby made 32 saves in a 5-3 win over Dartmouth.    Kim Haman
scored 3 of NU's 6 goals in the PC tourney.

INDEPENDENT NEWS:
Bowdoin Polar Bear Nan Gorton got her third hat trick of the season in
a 8-3 loss to Colby.  It was Gorton's sixth hat trick of her career.
Good to hear she is back in action and playing well.    Middlebury
Panther Whitney Parks is the team's leading scorer and got both goals
in a 9-2 loss to Dartmouth.
