Asian Fans
 
Just a personal curiosity:
At the Cornell hockey banquet last Saturday, I noticed that there was another
Asian man in attendance, but I did not get to meet him.  At Boston Garden for
the Hockeyfest, I also noticed that the crowd was predominantly white.  I
certainly don't think I'm the only Asian subscriber on Hockey-L, but am I?
Please email me directly if you're an Asian subscriber on the list.  I'm
interested in learning more about how you folks got interested in the hockey.
 
BTW, there was a Korean player from Auburn, NY who was the captain of the high
school hockey team.  I saw him play against Ithaca High's Little Red this past
Christmas break.  This player is not big, but he's a fast skater, reminded me
of our own Shawn Hannah and his speediness.
