Road games are all tough, but this weekend's jaunt to Western New York
has traditionally been one of Brown's sternest tests. A visit to Lynah is
always exciting and I'm sure the Faithful will be more than ready to enjoy
the pinnacle weekend of their home season. On the flip side, Starr Arena
has long been a chamber of horrors for the Bears and, historically, may well
be the most difficult conference arena for Brown to gain a victory. The
Bears have succeeded in leaving Lynah with an occasional win, but the
results at Starr have been truly frustrating over the years.

But now that the ECAC power structure has shifted a little farther South
than in the recent past, the Brown-Harvard travel pairing is starting to
carry the same kind of trepidation for both host and road teams as the
dreaded North Country pairing.

Obviously, Brown would like to enhance its lead in the ECAC standings as
well as gain additional stature by performing well this weekend. It will be
interesting to see how well the veteran Bear defense is able to handle the
Big Red and the Raiders, and if the recent production surge by the Brown
offense can be sustained on a tough road swing.

Looking forward to a special time.
