The notion that Umile's decision would be different if they were playing a
"better" team is incorrect.  He has sat kids down for other indiscretions
over the years, forcing them to miss far bigger games than the ones the
"Durham 8" are going to miss.  Just last season, second semester, after he
had already sat out because of academics, Umile sat Stafford for a weekend
(I think against Northeastern) because he missed classes.

The bottom line in all this is how stupid some hockey players, no some
athletes, no some college kids, can be.  In this case, less than three hours
after vacating the locker room after the Merrimack game, and after being
told flat out to stay away from Main Street, the eight knuckleheads were
down there.  They got what they deserve and good for Umile for sitting them.
It may cost the team a win or two, may cost them in the PWR, who knows.  But
in the long run the team will be better for it.

As far as the "rioters" (at least in my day they were rioting over a war),
they would be far more useful if they just sought out Grady and . . . .
well, you know.
