The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award will be presented to the women's
intercollegiate varsity ice hockey player who represents the highest
standards of personal and team excellence during the 1997-98 season.
Three finalists for The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award will be announced
March 13 in conjunction with the ECAC Championship. The first-ever
recipient of the award will be announced at The Patty Kazmaier Memorial
Award Ceremony, set for March 20 in Boston, MA, at the Boston Madison
Square Garden Club. That Friday will be busy as the Women's National
Championship semifinals will be happening at Harvard's Bright Hockey
Center.
The 11 candidates are:
