It was reported in the ANN ARBOR NEWS that Michigan
will be without forward Jason Botterill (13-14--27, 78 PIM)
versus Western Michigan and Michigan State this weekend.
Botterill is resting a wrist injury.

Forward Ron Sacka, who has missed the previous six
contests with a groin injury, may return to the line-up.

Given that Michigan only has 13 forwards, if Botterill and
Sacka are both unable to play the Wolverines will be
forced to dress 11 forwards and 7 defensemen. (They've
done this before, using Mark Sakala on spot duty at forward
and on the shorthanded unit.)
