As a followup to Mike's post regarding Quentin Fendelet's selection as
Hockey East's scholar-athlete of the year, the following is from last
nights Lowell Sun:
 
4 UMass-Lowell hockey players make the grade
 
NORTH ANDOVER - Five local residents and students are among the 32 named
to the 1993-94 Hockey East Academic Honor Roll.
 
Athletes with local ties include University of Massachusetts-Lowell
players Kerry Angus (3.15 GPA, liberals arts), Norman Bazin (3.38,
criminal justice), Shane Henry (3.09, criminal justice), Craig Lindsay
(3.78, psychology) and Boston College's Jim Krayer of Acton (3.0,
marketing).
 
Merrimack College 1994 graduate Quentin Fendelet of Saskatoon,
Sasketchewan was selected as the top overall Hockey East scholar-athlete
for a record third straight year.
 
 
 
[I've always wondered if Jim Krayer was related to Ed Krayer, who scored
the winning goal for Harvard when the Crimson won it all...  Anyone know?]
