Wow, the committee's blind following of the RPI index sure produced
some winners and losers before the games have even started.

Winners:
Northeastern....????? (Does anyone really think HE is that deep?)

Losers:
Brian Morris aptly put it...U Mass Lowell got SCREWED. They finish
second what the committee obviously considers to be one of the toughest
conferences in the country and what is there reward? Travel to Munn arena
and play Mich. St. at home (regardless of the color of the jerseys).
Granted, since $$ are the big factor someone was going to have play Mich. St.
at Munn and RPI at the Knick, but really Lowell should be in the EAST! Hmmmm
do I remember correctly that a certain BU coach is on the selection committee.
Hmmmm.

WCHA in general. Obviously, Colorado College and St. Cloud St. have
legitimate gripes about not making the tournament. Only two teams from the
WCHA???? Even my eastern bias sees that is a crime.

Oh well, what is done is done. Good luck to all the teams. I'm now
especially rooting for Lowell to show the committee just how good they are
and to make the crowd at Munn on Saturday just that much smaller.
