Yup, that's it for the (single-game) first round. Then the four
first-round winners, along with the four bye teams, are seeded for the
quarterfinal round (best-of-three) based on their position in the entire
league standings, not just the scheduling pods. The top four remaining
teams host the quarterfinals. This means that if #4 Niagara and/or #5
Robert Morris wins their first-round game, UConn will have had a bye in the
first round and will then play on the road in the quarterfinals.
Shameless plug: the Pick the Post-Season Tournaments contest will be along
soon, probably tomorrow. One of the holdups is I have to figure out just
how the heck I'm going to make a form for the above without being overly
confusing.
