Ohhhhh, that would be wonderful! I've been a big Jackie Gleason fan since
the early days of television!! And Mr. Gleason would fit in so well at a
hockey game. After he drops the puck, he could say "And awaaaaaaaay we
go!!". Or after a check into the boards, he could say "Bang! Zoom! To the
moon, Sioux!!" or "One of these days, Gophers... one of these days - POW!!"
Perhaps that wonderful singer Frank Fontaine will show up as his silly
character Crazy Guggenheim to sing the national anthem! And, between
periods, Mr. Gleason and Art Carney could do that hilarious "golf lesson"
bit from "The Honeymooners"! I just may look into getting a ticket for...
I... what? Mr. Gleason has passed on? "The Great One" is now Wayne Gretzky?
Well, that's totally different!
