Good teams can't win them all, so whenever they get beat, chants of
"overrated" are heard. A team that doesn't lose in 19 tries is
well-deserving of a #1 ranking, but those rankings don't really mean a
whole lot until NCAA selection takes place and the final rankings are the
only ones that REALLY count.. It seems like all good teams well forever
hear chants of "overrated". My point is, even good teams have off
nights, it happens, it's hard to maintain such a high level of excellence
over a full season. Those good teams that have the off nights (CC, BU,
MINN, MICH, LSSU, etc..) are always there in the end while the fans who
chant "overrated" seem to be fans of teams that have many more "off
nights" than the higher ranked teams.
