Someone else may have a definitive list, but here are some Hobeys (off
the top of my head) who currently play in the NHL: Neal Broten, Tom Kurvers
(but someone should check on this), Tony Hrkac, Kip Miller (but sent down
recently), Robb Stauber (I think sent down too, but did play last year).
Neal Broten seems to me to be the only one to come anywhere close to being a
bona-fide NHL star and now he's kind of long at the tooth. (Of course Lane
MacDonald never tried the NHL due to medical conditions...who knows what
would have happened? :->)

Subject: Hobey Jinx?
The NY Islanders have re-assigned 1994 Hobey Baker winner Chris Marinucci (UMD)
to their Denver IHL affiliate. He joins a parade of former Hobey Baker winners
who currently labor in the minor leagues, including a pair of former winners
Dave Emma (Harvard) and Scott Pellerin (Maine) who look to return to the
Albany River Rats this year. In fact I can't name any recent Hobey winners,
with the exception of millionaire Paul Kariya, who have made it to the Big
League.
Does anyone know what other Hobey winners, if any, since 1985 currently are
playing in the NHL?
