Well, there is the American Hockey Coaches Association
"College Division" player of the year, which recognizes the
"best" D-II/III player. Last year it was won by Ray Alcindor of
Middlebury. I do remember seeing a list of finalists someplace...
mostly the 1st team All-Americans as they are also picked by the
AHCA.
Supposedly the award was given out last weekend, but I haven't
heard anything yet.
