Interesting tidbit from saturdays MTU UAA game, wonder if this has ever
happened
before  ;-)

Freshman netminder Kevin Hachey played his first collegiate game Saturday
(Oct. 30) vs. Alaska Anchorage. He entered the contest in a relief role at
the midpoint of the second period. Hachey actually gained an assist before
ever making his first collegiate save. For the record, the assist came on
Chris Conner's goal at 14:49 of the second period, while his first official
save came at 17:50 on a point blank chance by UAAs Chris Tarkir . . .
