There was an article in the Wall Street Journal a couple of months ago
about pep bands (it focused on basketball) and how they're getting
shafted by an influx of marketing promos and commercials during timeouts.

We've seen some things like this at the ECAC and NCAA tournaments, but
nothing to the scale described in the article, thank god.
