The news is certainly shocking. Mr. Englestad was not only a huge supporter of the University of North Dakota, but what may be missed more is all of the work he has done for people with disabilities. Just last year Ralph and his wife set up a foundation to assure that every person who needed a wheelchair in North Dakota had the opportunity to have one for free. His company was annually recognized by the American Association of the Disabled, for their hiring and employment practices. I certainly hope that his legacy not only lives on in the hockey program, but also in all the other charitable organization that he has so generously supported.

I am going to Fridays UND-Mankato game and am interested to see if they will have any special program. Agree with him or not he did a lot for the state of ND and I think he should be recognized.
