Fair 'nuf.  I agree that the hockey team should be treated no differently
than any other group that engaged in a hazing activity.  If some other
student group did the same thing, and the punishment was suspension or
expulsion, then the same should happen to the hockey team.  There were also
allegations of credit card fraud, which went far beyond one night of
stupidity.  The sexual abuse stuff is a bit harder to separate what actually
happened from what was threatened.
 
With regard to the seniors, I agree that the NHL or Juniors or whoever won't
care much about this incident.  That wasn't the focus of my statement.  If
you told me in the middle of my high school senior year or my college senior
year that the remainder of the season was being canceled, it would have
affected me very deeply.  Playing for THAT TEAM was a very important
experience in my life, despite the fact that I was a bench player in high
school, and not one player from my college team would even make a modern day
D3 team.
