Well folks, it was another good weekend for OSU, although it was partly at the expense
of my Spartans )-: and resulted in much teasing from my fellow OSU tickets holders. On
Saturday night, OSU tied Bowling Green 3-3 in a rematch that this time counted in the
conference (last week's OSU win over BG was in a non-conference game). The tie gave OSU
a lock on the playoffs. On Sunday, OSU came out strong and played well, while MSU
didn't appear to come out at all. I don't know if it was Miami or the road trip that
took it out of them, but the MSU team I last saw beating Michigan sure didn't appear to
be there. The Bucks wound up beating the Spartans 8-3, looking like they could score at
will towards the end of the game. The win extended OSU's unbeaten streak to 6, and I
believe they're now a lock for 7th in the playoffs. While I'm glad they made it up to
7th, it does mean that I won't be able to see them play because I'd already had my mom
get me tickets to Yost (where I thought they'd most likely be). Guess that's my
punishment for not having enough faith! Now I'll have to dig out the Michigan jersey.
