Yesterday in our famous Buffalo News ("snooze") Thursday 3/21/96
they actually had an article on the NCAA D-I championships -
HOCKEY. This is indeed a rare pleasure. It mentions that 8
WNY players (Buffalo area) are represented in the championships
on various teams.  The main focus was Marc Magliarditi who
played at The Nichols School (yes folks that's also Canisius
College home rink too).  The article was great, it also had
the brackets and seeds of the tourney.
 
I know sarcasm s the wit of the devil but we do not
get regular collegiate hockey coverage in our one
newspaper city.  This one article was a nice suprise.
Most of the paper is devoted to Buffalo Bills, Sabres
Stampede, Blizzard or Basketball.
 
I hope to make it to Albany.
